Job Description

We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist to join our team in GDL, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX). RPG is primary (DB2, AS400 and similar skills).

Job Responsibility

  • Experience of working on Healthcare Provider and Payer applications
  • Collaborate with internal teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, Exalogic and Super Clusters)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in RPG programming
  • Solid experience in application development and maintenance on IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform
  • IBM IAcess Client, ACS Session Manager
  • Strong knowledge of DB2 for SQL, and database design
  • IBM DFU utility, Schedule M
  • ServiceNow
  • Experience of working on Healthcare Provider and Payer applications
  • Advanced knowledge of AS/400, RPGLE concepts as well as practical programming knowhow
  • Working knowledge of the CL environment
  • Well versed Batch Job handling, debugging and Job servicing
  • A good knowledge of Job scheduling. Knowledge of Job schedulers/RBO schedulers
  • Collaborate with internal teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, Exalogic and Super Clusters)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Java would be looked forward to
  • A sound understanding of the HAWKEYE tool would be a great advantage for the position
  • AWS production support experience would be an added advantage
