Job Description:

The Software Development Manager leads the build out, development, and management of a team of developers, who will establish and help in building and maintaining systems, platforms and tools. They rapidly deliver world class software solutions to T-Mobile business customers both internal and external. They build short and long term technical strategy in partnership with internal technology and product partners and work very closely with IT partner teams working on multiple projects.

Job Responsibility:

Effectively manages team to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback and coaching, and conducting performance reviews and conversations
Drives continuous development practice improvements across technical disciplines
Handles technical relationships with assigned vendors
Interviews and hires qualified team members

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a computer programming related field
4+ years experience in an Analytics and Business Intelligence development environment
Experience in managing or supervising a team of 8 developers or more
Experience working in large data environments and on large data log aggregation software like Splunk, Open Search, or Elastic Search
Experience with machine learning and AIOps software
Knowledgeable of industry standards for agile development using tools such as Jira and Gitlab
