My client are a leading Consultancy in the Commercial Sales arena helping Businesses and Retailers all across the UK. Going through extensive growth they are bringing inhouse there Development function and as such as looking for an experienced Software Development Manager (.NET) to join the business. As our Software Development Manager (.NET) you will lead a multi‑disciplinary engineering team (4-6) and work closely with a newly appointed Product Owner to deliver secure, scalable, and user‑friendly applications that meet the needs of a fast‑moving operational business.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a team of mobile, web, and backend developers
  • Take ownership of the existing data‑capture platform and drive its stabilisation and improvement
  • Define a clear technical and architectural roadmap focused on modernisation and long‑term growth
  • Set engineering standards and oversee code quality, testing, DevOps practices, and release processes
  • Work with the Product Owner to translate business needs into actionable delivery plans

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing software development teams delivering mobile and/or web applications
  • Strong technical grounding (ideally with .NET and Azure, or similar modern frameworks)
  • Experience adopting and improving an existing application or platform
  • Good understanding of Agile delivery practices and DevOps principles
