Job Description:

Join an AI-first healthcare startup attacking a massive market with broken workflows, huge inefficiencies, and near limitless room for automation. The founding team are proven serial entrepreneurs who have collectively raised over $100M across prior ventures. The company is fully bootstrapped today, already loved by large healthcare organizations, and positioned to scale extremely fast. This is a founder-level engineering role with the opportunity for up to 2% equity and a realistic path to $1M+ in equity value within 3–5 years as the company scales.

Job Responsibility:

  • Building multiple AI-powered healthcare products from zero to one (5–10 per year)
  • Owning full product lifecycle from customer discovery to shipping production code
  • Working directly with healthcare operators and users to understand real workflows
  • Translating complex healthcare processes into practical AI tools
  • Coding across frontend, backend, and data layers using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node, SQL, and AWS
  • Leveraging AI coding tools heavily to build at extreme speed
  • Traveling occasionally for on-site workflow deep dives
  • Operating in-person in NYC with a small, elite founding team

Requirements:

  • Full-stack engineer with deep TypeScript experience
  • Proven track record shipping products end-to-end
  • Comfortable coding frontend, backend, and infrastructure
  • Strong product instincts and ability to conduct real customer discovery
  • Experience using AI coding tools extensively
  • Prior startup or founder experience strongly preferred
  • Able to work onsite in NYC and travel as needed
  • High ownership, high velocity, strong communication
  • MUST BE EXCEPTIONAL, MUST BE A US CITIZEN
