Job Description:

Software Development Engineer in test and automation position for the Issuer application team to perform tests on innovative solutions that meet functionality, performance, scalability and reliability requirements while adhering to development and delivery schedules, QA principles and quality goals.

Job Responsibility:

Create and implement automation test strategies aligned with project requirements
Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks
Interpret and clarify manual test cases, translate them into automation test cases
Execute automation regression test cases to support releases
Conduct code review for automated test cases
Identify and document software defects and issues
Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members
Stay updated to emerging automation tools and technologies

Requirements:

Experience in software industry
Experience in automation testing
Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, EE, Mathematics or related majors
Good understanding of Software development lifecycle(SDLC), agile principles and methodologies
Familiarity with SQL and database management systems
Proficient in one programming language, Python or Java
Proficiency in implementing automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar tools
Good knowledge in TDD and BDD
Experience with bug tracking systems like Jira, Bugzilla
Strong communication skills and collaboration skills
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Ability to work independently, multi-task, take ownership and drive strategy

Nice to have:

Investment banking software testing experience
Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB
Financial knowledge or background
Experience in BDD automation framework
