Job Description:

The Software Development Engineer in Test role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on Java and JavaScript. The candidate will design and maintain automated test frameworks, conduct API testing, and integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with developers and product owners is essential for ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing
  • Strong focus on Java and JavaScript
  • Must know basic coding on Java or JavaScript
  • 5 years experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using CodeceptJS with TypeScript
  • Experience building and executing end-to-end automated tests for UI and API workflows using TypeScript (Codecept) or Selenium/Java
  • Experience converting manual test cases into reusable, maintainable automation scripts
  • Experience performing functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
  • 3+ years experience conducting API testing including validation of response codes and payloads
  • Experience logging, tracking, and verifying defects
  • Experience collaborating closely with developers and product owners
  • Experience integrating automated test suites with CloudBees/Jenkins CI pipelines
  • Experience analyzing test execution reports and addressing automation failures and flaky tests
  • Proficiency with Test Automation tools: CodeceptJS, UI & API automation (Selenium/Java)
  • Proficiency with Languages: TypeScript, Java
  • Experience with CI/CD: Jenkins
  • Experience with Version Control: Git
  • Experience with Tools & Process: JIRA, Agile/Scrum, SDLC/STLC
