Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond.  Together, we advance your career.   THE ROLE:  A seasoned ML Engineer to Architect Machine learning Models for Generative AI related research  THE PERSON:  The ideal candidate should be passionate about Generative AI and Neural Networks and its application in graphics technology, skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD. Applied Research and Engineering team is looking for the following  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Proficiency in machine learning and Artificial Intelligence especually around model architecture  General software development workflow knowledge: git, cmake, CI, etc Expert programming skills in Python, C and/or C++ Expertise in Machine Learning techniques and its application within graphics Proficient in English.  PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  Strong object-oriented programming background Understanding model distillation Understanding image upscaling  Understanding of 3D graphics and Ray tracing  Ability to write high quality code with a keen attention to detail  Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs  Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers is a plus  Effective communication and problem-solving skills  Motivating leader with good interpersonal skills   Experience in coding with AI tools and agents  ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:  Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science especially Machine Learning, Generative AI, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
