Job Description

The AI Salesforce Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting AI-powered solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role combines Salesforce platform engineering, AI/Agentic solution development, automation, and operational support to deliver intelligent customer and business experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce development, AI-enabled workflows, prompt engineering, automation frameworks, and production support. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, UX teams, and enterprise AI governance groups to implement scalable and compliant AI capabilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver 4–6 small-to-medium Salesforce platform enhancements concurrently
  • Support development enhancement requests up to approximately 25 hours of effort each
  • Participate in Agile sprint planning and execution aligned to 2-week sprint and release cycles
  • Develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities
  • Build custom Flow solutions and intelligent automations integrated into user experiences
  • Maintain platform stability through KTLO (Keep The Lights On) support activities and rapid operational fixes
  • Engineer prompt logic and intelligent agent behaviors to drive business outcomes
  • Develop AI-enabled workflows and automate complex operational processes
  • Support Agentic AI and AIOps initiatives embedded within Salesforce products and business applications
  • Implement AI-powered customer segmentation and behavioral signal capture for intelligent decisioning
  • Monitor and optimize token utilization and AI operational efficiency
  • Support Bring Your Own LLM (BYOLLM) models provided by enterprise AI teams and ensure models remain current and performant
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression test suites
  • Ensure all platform changes include updated test automation coverage
  • Maintain the health and reliability of automated testing frameworks
  • Validate AI model outputs for accuracy, consistency, compliance, and algorithmic bias
  • Perform functional, integration, and user acceptance testing activities
  • Provide operational support for AI agents and production AI capabilities
  • Monitor prompts, AI responses, and failure points for continuous improvement
  • Capture operational and behavioral data to improve AI solution effectiveness
  • Monitor bot and agent performance metrics and recommend optimization opportunities
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate resolution activities across teams
  • Collaborate with multiple technology and business teams, including UX and product stakeholders
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute technical thought leadership
  • Follow enterprise development standards, tools, and governance practices
  • Work within Agile/Scrum delivery models and support sprint ceremonies
  • Coordinate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and enterprise AI governance teams as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience

  • Experience developing or supporting AI-enabled business solutions
