We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our engineering team responsible for building and enhancing mission‑critical applications. This role is ideal for a developer who brings strong technical expertise, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality, well‑documented software. You will participate throughout the full software development lifecycle—designing, coding, configuring, testing, debugging, and documenting systems and application programs. Your work will contribute to delivering reliable, scalable solutions used across North America.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, configure, test, debug, and document application and system-level programs following established SDLC best practices
Assist in preparing and refining technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documentation
Produce clear, detailed operational and system documentation to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing
Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documentation, providing thoughtful feedback to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with best practices
Work closely with fellow developers, QA specialists, architects, and product teams to ensure code consistency, high quality, and system stability
Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to maintain engineering standards and foster continuous improvement
Requirements:
Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, Java, and JavaScript
Proficiency working in Linux-based environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to take detailed notes, document processes well, and clearly communicate technical concepts
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to work standard business hours within Eastern or Central Time Zones
Must be located in the United States or Canada
