Job Description:

Aquila Technology is seeking a Software Developer to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implement algorithms to process large datasets obtained from a proprietary database platform
  • Front-and back-end development
  • Software requirements, design, development, integration, testing, documentation, and maintenance
  • Work executed primarily in Rust and Python in a Linux environment using open source and custom software

Requirements:

  • Currently holds a Secret Clearance (OR a higher clearance)
  • 5 years experience with NoSQL database technology
  • 2 years experience developing Distributed and Cloud-Based Systems and Services
  • 5 years experience with object- and service-oriented development skills (microservices architecture)
  • 2 years experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • 5 years experience with Programming Languages (Java, JavaScript, Python)
  • 2 years experience developing scalable software architectures in cloud-native environments
  • 5 years experience with CI/CD pipelines tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)
  • 1 year experience with front end development with modern visualization tools (e.g., Grafana or Kibana)
  • 5 years experience architecting software systems
  • 1 year experience developing/deploying (with) agentic and generative AI solutions
  • Must Be US Citizen to apply
  • Must live within 100 miles of Lexington, MA
