Job Responsibility:
Build and enhance full stack features across the API platform and safety applications (including dashboards and internal tools)
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs in a primarily JavaScript-based environment
Support and improve the existing codebase—identify inefficiencies, refactor where needed, and fix quality-impacting bugs
Collaborate with third-party testing teams to quickly address issues that block testing or pilots
Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to support faster, more reliable releases
Contribute to Agile/Scrum practices—participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
help enforce timelines
Support data architecture and ingestion, including building pipelines for mass data loads and automated enrollment for large clients (e.g., 300,000+ users)
Work across two product applications and the API platform, ensuring stability, scalability, and readiness for commercialization
Dig into existing documentation and code, help improve documentation as you learn the system
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years in full stack development
Technical aptitude with JavaScript (Frontend and backend), Linux server side applications, AWS cloud hosting, MariaDB or similar database
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs (design, integration, troubleshooting)
Experience with Redis for data storage and querying
Unit testing experience and a strong focus on code quality
CI/CD pipeline experience—able to help build and refine pipelines
Familiarity with Agile work environments and project management/lifecycle tools such as Jira
Ability to work independently and proactively identify development needs
Nice to have:
ideally familiar with fast-paced, high-pressure startup/SaaS environments
