Job Description:

Duties: Use SAS programming to develop and design applications, Data, Analytics and Reporting (CDAR formerly CEDA). Apply expertise in SAS/BASE, SAS/STAT, SAS/MACROS in Windows as wells as UNIX environments and create REPL form of program steps. Develop SQL queries at an advanced level for data analysis and data pipeline management. Develop applications utilizing Hadoop platform and deploy them over the cluster. Utilize the Hadoop platform for implementing distributed machine learning algorithms developed using Python, HIVE, SQL, Spark and H2O. Research and implement advanced statistical solutions like regression, logistic regression, proportional hazard regression, survival analysis, and clustering techniques. Understand and incorporate functional programming concepts in SAS and Python in order to maintain deployed applications and ensure timely performance. Conduct business interviews with internal stakeholders for gathering functional and technical requirements with little guidance.
