Job Description

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our IT Services team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will build and support client-focused software solutions while coordinating project activities to keep work on schedule and aligned with expectations. The position requires strong technical development skills, clear communication, and the ability to guide testing, documentation, and customer support throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibility

  • Create structured project plans, timelines, and testing materials to support successful delivery of software initiatives
  • Partner with internal team members and assigned resources to move projects forward within approved deadlines, scope, and budget targets
  • Evaluate project documentation and timelines from clients or external partners to confirm alignment with technical and business objectives
  • Define and carry out testing processes that help verify application quality, performance, and readiness for release
  • Complete development and support work in accordance with company standards, operating procedures, and quality expectations
  • Maintain accurate records of project activity, technical updates, and completed tasks for tracking and reference purposes
  • Deliver responsive client service by addressing requests, answering questions, and following through on issues in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot software concerns, provide user assistance and training, and keep customers informed about progress, challenges, and key deadlines
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues, leadership, and clients while sharing updates on risks, milestones, and recommended process improvements

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development
  • Hands-on expertise with .NET and the .NET Framework in business application development environments
  • Strong programming ability in C# and experience building applications with ASP.NET
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript for front-end or interactive web development tasks
  • Experience contributing to project planning, documentation, testing, and delivery activities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management regarding technical work and project status
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues and support end users effectively
