Job Description

We are looking for a Software Developer to create and enhance core banking solutions for credit union clients in San Antonio, Texas. This position focuses on building secure, dependable applications and integrations that support day-to-day financial operations across deposits, lending, and payments. The ideal candidate will bring strong development experience, a solid understanding of core banking platforms, and the ability to work closely with technical teams and business partners to deliver scalable results.

Job Responsibility

Develop and support customized software components within core banking platforms to meet operational and client-specific needs
Partner with business users, product teams, and external stakeholders to turn functional needs into practical technical solutions
Create, maintain, and improve APIs, automated jobs, and system interfaces connecting core platforms with digital banking, lending, and payment applications
Monitor application health, investigate system issues, and implement improvements that strengthen reliability and performance
Contribute to client onboarding efforts, platform upgrades, and data conversion activities tied to core banking environments
Apply security standards, regulatory expectations, and internal technology controls throughout the software development lifecycle
Document technical designs, integration workflows, and support procedures to promote maintainability and knowledge sharing

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience working with core banking systems such as Corelation Keystone, Jack Henry Symitar, Fiserv platforms, or comparable technologies
Proficiency in software development using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, or related programming tools
Hands-on experience building and supporting RESTful APIs, middleware solutions, and system-to-system integrations
Working knowledge of financial institution operations, including deposit services, lending functions, and payment processing
Experience collaborating within Agile delivery teams and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders
Ability to troubleshoot production issues, analyze system behavior, and deliver stable, scalable solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
