Job Description:

The Software Developer plans, develops, tests, and maintains software solutions. You will manage the technical design and the application development, including testing the developed software. This also includes support and consultation activities in the concept phase of the planned application.

Job Responsibility:

Check functional and technical requirements regarding technical implementation and feasibility and translate them into the technical software design
Design, test, debug, document and implement software or application components of third-party software and of operating system-related software
Fulfill non-functional requirements of the solution, such as performance, data protection, IT security and ergonomics/usability
Ensure the future maintainability of the systems and consideration of the technical and functional environment in the context of the development of software
Develop software in agile teams and implement software engineering techniques and methods

Requirements:

IBM-Host emulated by Microfocus Runtime on Linux environment
ISPF, TSO, JCL, UC4 and PL/1
Procedural programming in PL/1
DB2 und SQL, incl. Performance and tuning, and XML knowledge
DB Visualizer
Distributed Applications, MQ / ABSCom
Microfocus and Linux Knowhow
