Job Description:

This position is for a Software Developer with 7–10 years of experience in large-scale enterprise or transformation projects. The role focuses on developing, testing, and maintaining Cognos-based solutions and integrations within complex case management systems. The developer will work hands-on with Cognos and SQL, enhancing and customizing reporting frameworks while ensuring alignment with architectural and business requirements. The role requires expertise in end-to-end design, infrastructure integration, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Responsibilities include both application development and solution design, supported by solid analytical and documentation skills.

Job Responsibility:

Write and maintain code using Cognos and SQL
Deliver end-to-end solution design, development, and unit testing
Analyze business goals and provide technical recommendations on reporting and infrastructure
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure delivery outcomes align with requirements
Conduct code reviews and unit testing to maintain quality
Create technical documentation and architecture explanations
Identify and resolve software defects
Support cross-functional teams and promote adherence to development standards
Contribute to planning, reporting, and knowledge transfer activities

Requirements:

7–10 years of experience as a Senior Cognos Developer
Expertise in Cognos reporting, SQL development, and large-scale implementations
Proven experience in complex case management systems integration
Strong background in requirements elicitation, fit-gap analysis, and solution design
Ability to document technical architecture and support Agile development teams
Proficiency in industry-standard development frameworks and tools
