The Software Developer (Mid‑Level) is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support business and operational needs. This role requires strong hands‑on development experience, ownership of features from design through deployment, and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate demonstrates deep expertise in at least one widely used programming language and a solid understanding of modern software development practices. This position requires residence in South Florida.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software applications
Own end-to-end development of features, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA, and other developers to deliver reliable solutions
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across development and production environments
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and performance
Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services
Contribute to system design discussions and recommend improvements to architecture and performance
Support production systems and participate in incident remediation as needed
Requirements:
3+ years of professional software development experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Expert-level proficiency in at least one of the following widely used programming languages: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Go, PHP, Ruby, C++, Swift
Strong understanding of object-oriented and/or functional programming principles
Experience working with RESTful APIs and backend services
Solid knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
Must reside in South Florida or be willing to commute locally
Nice to have:
Experience with modern frameworks relevant to primary language (e.g., .NET, Spring, Django, Flask, Node.js, React, Angular)
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Understanding of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals
Agile/Scrum development experience
Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
