Job Responsibility
Development of Automotive application software for DC motor driven Automotive mechatronic systems like Window Regulators, Power Operated Tailgates Smart-Latch etc.
Coordinate end-to-end software development activities for automotive mechatronic systems
Act as the central interface between application software development teams, electronics hardware teams, test teams, quality, project manager, and OEM customers
Ensure timely delivery of software releases, compliance to standards (ASPICE, MISRA, ISO 26262), and alignment with project milestones
Support requirement analysis, planning, risk identification, and cross-functional issue resolution
Coordinate with customers, project managers, systems, basic, and application software teams for scope, requirement clarity, schedule and updates
Create and update the software timing and release plans with the project manager
Track and control software development progress, report status, and highlight risks to PM and management
Coordinate SW architecture discussions and ensure traceability to requirements
Manage change requests, review impact, and align implementation priorities
Drive defect management with development and test teams
Prepare and review documentation needed for customer milestones and audits
Ensure compliance with ASPICE, MISRA, cybersecurity, and internal quality standards
Coordinate with Test teams (System/Validation/HIL) for test readiness, execution, and issue closure
Support software release packaging, delivery, and customer communication
Requirements
Graduate/post-graduate degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
8-12 years including experience in software coordination, project tracking, and cross-functional communication
Understanding of automotive SW development lifecycle
Good understanding of AUTOSAR architecture will be an advantage
Exposure and know-how of Agile methodology will be preferred
Experience with requirement management & defect management tools E.g.CodeBeamer
Knowledge of automotive protocols like CAN, CAN-FD, ISO 14229 etc. is a must
Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and automotive cybersecurity concepts like HSM, Digital signature etc. are expected
Strong documentation, planning, and presentation skills
Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer) for analysis
Understanding of Git-based configuration management
