The Boeing Company is currently looking for a Software Certification Engineer (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to support our Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Software Certification Team (Interior/Cabin system) located in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidates will contribute to all phases of the software development and lifecycle (planning, requirements, implementation, and verification, and certification). The Software Certification Engineer will play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety and excellence, making significant contributions to the certification process that underpins the trust of our customers and the flying public. Depending on skills and background, the individual has opportunity to work in a number of areas including Interior, Cabin and Network Systems, Common Core System, Electronic Subsystems, Environmental Controls, Flight Controls, or Propulsion. The individual will assist with reviewing or documenting software requirements, architectures, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems adhere to DO-178(B/C) guidance.
