Job Description:

The Cared for Children's team works closely with children and young people who are currently in care, ensuring they receive the support and stability they need. As part of this team, you'll help children who are unable to live with their families, supporting their care plans and working towards the best outcomes for their futures.

Job Responsibility:

Develop, review, and implement robust Child in Care (CIC) plans, ensuring each child's care plan meets their developmental, emotional, and safeguarding needs
Regularly assess the child's safety and wellbeing through Section 47 assessments and statutory visits, identifying any risks
Act as a lead professional in multi-agency meetings, such as Looked After Child (LAC) reviews and core group meetings, collaborating with health, education, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes
Represent the child's voice in all decision-making processes, ensuring their views, wishes, and feelings are central to their care plan

Requirements:

Relevant social work qualification
2 years relevant experience

Relocation support up to £8,000
