The Community Mental Health Team is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Social Worker to become an integral part of our multidisciplinary service, delivering person-centred care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Undertake comprehensive social work assessments, including risk assessments, to identify needs and strengths
Develop and implement person-centred care plans that promote recovery and social inclusion
Provide a range of therapeutic interventions and support, including crisis intervention, advocacy, and signposting to relevant services
Work collaboratively with service users to empower them in managing their mental health and achieving their goals
Contribute to the safeguarding of vulnerable adults in line with national and local policies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with professional standards
Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW)
Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
