Job Description:

A temporary full-time role as a Criminal Justice Social Worker in Perth focused on supporting individuals in the criminal justice system. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating care plans, reducing reoffending through interventions, collaborating with agencies, attending court hearings, and contributing to multi-disciplinary teams.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct assessments of individuals involved in the criminal justice system, identifying their needs and risks
develop, implement, and review care plans in partnership with service users and other professionals
provide support and interventions aimed at reducing reoffending, promoting rehabilitation, and improving social integration
work with a wide range of agencies, including law enforcement, probation services, and healthcare providers, to ensure a coordinated approach
attend court hearings, prepare reports, and provide expert testimony as required
contribute to multi-disciplinary teams, offering insights into cases and providing a holistic approach to criminal justice

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker
SSSC registered in the Social Work part of the register
LSCMI trained
car driver
