Social Worker Contract Position in West Norfolk. Are you a dedicated and experienced Social Worker seeking a rewarding temporary opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker role within West Norfolk. Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct Care Act assessments and reviews
  • Manage Mental Capacity Act (MCA) cases to ensure best practice
  • Handle safeguarding cases to protect vulnerable adults
  • Work independently while collaborating closely with community teams
  • Hold your own caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions
  • Document all case activities accurately and maintain confidentiality

Requirements:

  • Experience working with adults, particularly older persons and those with physical disabilities
  • Knowledge of Care Act 2014, MCA, and safeguarding procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid social work qualification and registration (e.g., BASW or HCPC registration)
