Job Responsibility:
Undertake comprehensive assessments of need and risk for children and families
Develop and implement robust child protection plans and care plans
Undertake direct work with children, young people, and their families
Prepare for and attend Children's Hearings, court proceedings, and other relevant meetings
Work collaboratively with a range of professionals and agencies, including health, education, and police
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with professional and organisational standards
Participate in duty rotas and provide an effective response to referrals
Contribute to the continuous improvement of services and practice within the team
Requirements:
A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW)
Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
