We are looking for committed and skilled Qualified Social Workers to join our Adults Safeguarding and Assessment teams, where you will play a key role in supporting adults at times of change, crisis, and risk.
Job Responsibility:
Undertake Care Act assessments
Identify risks and work with adults, carers, and partner agencies to promote independence, wellbeing, and safety
Lead and contribute to statutory safeguarding enquiries
Apply proportionate, timely, and person centred interventions to protect adults at risk of abuse or neglect
Complete assessments, develop support plans, review packages of care
Make informed professional judgements under relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
Qualified and registered Social Worker (Social Work England)
Experience or interest in adult safeguarding and assessment work
Strong understanding of relevant legislation
Ability to apply legislation confidently in practice
Resilient, organised, and able to work calmly under pressure
Sound judgement and professional curiosity
Strong communication skills
Commitment to strengths-based, person-centred, and anti-discriminatory practice
