Are you a dedicated Social Worker with experience working with children and disabilities? We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Worker for a contract role to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children. Job Responsibility:
Conduct thorough assessments of children’s needs and family circumstances
Develop and implement tailored care plans aligned with statutory guidelines
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and families
Provide ongoing support, advice, and guidance to children and their carers
Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed case records in line with organizational standards
Advocate for children’s rights and promote their best interests
Participate in supervision and team meetings to review cases and share best practices
Requirements:
Relevant qualification such as Diploma in Social Work (DipSW) or equivalent
Registered with the appropriate Social Work regulatory body
Experience working with children and families, preferably with disabilities
Knowledge of safeguarding protocols and legislation
Excellent communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and priorities
