Job Description:

We are recruiting a skilled and enthusiastic Social Worker to work within our dedicated Adult Learning Disability Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide person-centred support and make a positive impact on the lives of adults with learning disabilities. If you are a registered Social Worker with experience in this field, we would love to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of individual needs, strengths, and risks, in line with relevant legislation and guidance
Developing and implementing person-centred support plans in collaboration with individuals, their carers, and other professionals
Providing direct support and interventions to individuals, including advocacy, emotional support, and practical assistance
Working collaboratively with a range of partner agencies, including health professionals, housing providers, and voluntary organisations, to ensure coordinated and effective support
Safeguarding vulnerable adults in accordance with local policies and procedures
Monitoring and reviewing support plans to ensure they remain relevant and meet individual needs
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with professional standards and organisational requirements
Contributing to the ongoing development of the service through participation in team meetings, training, and service improvement initiatives

Requirements:

A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW)
Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
