Job Description:

Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a Social Worker for the West Integrated Network. This role is essential for ensuring safe and effective social work practice within the West Network, particularly during a period of significant staffing pressure. The post is a key frontline position within the Social Services and Wellbeing Directorate, focused on delivering core statutory functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering core statutory functions within the West Network
  • Providing a strengths-based, outcome-focused response to adults to promote independence and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Social Worker
  • Requires a Criminal Records (DBS) check
  • A clean driving license is essential for this position
  • Experienced staff are required to support the team due to current vacancy levels and competency concerns.
