Buckinghamshire Council currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced qualified Social Worker to take the next step in their professional career with a well-established local authority. The role will involve joining a busy, fast paced MASH team whose paramount objective is always a child's well being and safety.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to queries and referrals from a number of different sources
Make contact with families and partner agencies
Work closely with the Locality Teams in ensuring children and families are effectively transferred with appropriate risk assessments, priority status and initial recommendations
Provide day to day support and coaching to Contact and Referral Officers
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker (DipSW or equivalent)
At least two years post qualifying experience
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Nice to have:
Experience of working within a MASH/Referral/Assessment environment
