Requirements

LS/CMI (Levels of Service/Case Management Inventory) trained
Experience in either RoSH (Risk of Serious Harm) training or SA07 & RM2000 (Structured Assessment of Risk and Need/Risk Matrix 2000)
Experience in preparing TARL (Throughcare, Aftercare, Resettlement, and Licensing) reports
A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW)
Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Job Responsibility

Undertaking comprehensive social work assessments and interventions with a diverse caseload of offenders
Developing and implementing effective risk management plans, focusing on reducing reoffending and promoting public safety
Working collaboratively with a range of multi-disciplinary teams, including prison staff, probation officers, psychologists, and healthcare professionals
Providing support and advocacy for offenders, addressing complex needs such as substance misuse, mental health issues, and family breakdown
Contributing to parole board reports and other statutory processes

Job Responsibility

Provide administration to support Domestic Abuse case management interventions
Make contact and work on a one-to-one basis with perpetrators to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services
