Our Fostering and Adoption Team is dedicated to providing safe, loving, and stable homes for children and young people in need. We are committed to supporting foster carers, adoptive families, and the children they care for to thrive and achieve their full potential. We are seeking a passionate, empathetic, and skilled Social Worker to join our dynamic and supportive team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work directly with prospective foster carers and adopters, conducting assessments, providing training, and offering ongoing support
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and carers to ensure the best outcomes
  • Complete detailed assessments, including Form F and PAR reports, and present findings to the fostering and adoption panels
  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to care and support
  • Participate in matching children with suitable foster or adoptive families, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing support
  • Provide post-placement and post-adoption support to families as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with legislative and procedural requirements

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • SSSC registered in the Social Work part of the register
