Job Responsibility

  • Manage a caseload of children in care, including those in legal proceedings
  • Complete clear, analytical assessments to support decision-making
  • Prepare reports and represent the Local Authority in court
  • Attend court independently where required
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and carers
  • Work closely with multi-agency partners to deliver the best outcomes

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker (registered with Social Work England)
  • ASYE completed
  • Experience of court work and confident working independently
  • Strong analysis and decision-making skills
  • Passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
