This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker with significant statutory children and families experience to manage a complex and diverse caseload.
Job Responsibility:
Undertaking comprehensive assessments of need and risk
Developing and implementing robust care plans in collaboration with children, families, and partner agencies
Leading child protection investigations and safeguarding enquiries
Preparing and presenting reports for Child Protection Conferences, Looked After Children Reviews, and court proceedings
Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure effective interventions and positive outcomes for children
Providing direct work with children and families, building strong relationships based on trust and respect
Navigating complex family dynamics and challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
Managing a complex and diverse caseload
Requirements:
A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW)
Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Significant statutory children and families experience
