As a Child Protection Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload involving children at risk, conducting Section 47 investigations and attending core groups, drafting high-quality court reports and representing the authority in proceedings, and collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure robust safety plans are in place. The role offers a hybrid working model with 3 days on-site in Carlisle and 2 days working from home, with a manageable duty rotation of only 1 week in every 6-7.

Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
Substantial experience within Child Protection and Safeguarding

Ability to commute to Carlisle for the 3-day on-site requirement
