We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Social Worker to join our dynamic Adult Social Care Hub, the front door to vital care and support services in our community. Our Hub is where meaningful change begins. You will be at the heart of safeguarding, triage, assessment and early intervention, making timely, strengths-based decisions that transform lives.
Job Responsibility:
Lead on safeguarding enquiries, applying experienced professional judgement to ensure adults are protected, risks are managed, and all statutory duties are met
Manage a demanding and varied caseload, prioritising work effectively while maintaining high standards of practice and compliance
Work as part of the Adult Social Care Hub, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver timely, proportionate interventions and ensure people receive the right care at the right time
Build strong relationships with individuals, families, and community networks, enabling people to remain independent and connected within their own communities
Use a strengths‑based approach to promote independence, reduce reliance on long‑term services, and improve outcomes
Requirements:
At least two years of experience working within statutory social services, ideally in a local authority setting
Strong safeguarding practice
Ability to confidently manage a high and varied caseload
Ability to apply up to date legislation and policy to deliver high quality outcomes
Collaborative working
Sound professional judgement
Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of working within the current Social Care System and Framework
