Job Responsibility

  • Conducting holistic and timely assessments in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Developing and implementing outcome-focused support plans in partnership with service users
  • Working effectively with a multi-agency approach, liaising with health professionals, housing providers, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Safeguarding vulnerable adults and adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Contributing to team meetings, case discussions, and service development
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW)
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Nice to have

  • MHO qualification
  • Care Officer experience
  • Knowledge of remote/rural social work
