Job Responsibility
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and strengths, working collaboratively with them, their families, and carers
Developing and implementing person-centred support plans that promote independence, choice, and control
Providing ongoing support, advice, and guidance to individuals and their networks
Working in partnership with a range of agencies including health professionals, housing providers, and voluntary organisations
Safeguarding vulnerable adults in accordance with local policies and procedures
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Contributing to the ongoing development of the service
Requirements
A qualified and registered Social Worker - SSSC registered
Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is essential
A full driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable due to the rural nature of Orkney
