The Adult Social Work Duty Team in Fife is looking for motivated and skilled individuals to join their dedicated team. As part of the duty team, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking support, providing timely and effective interventions to ensure their safety, wellbeing, and independence. Job Responsibility

  • Conduct prompt, person-centered assessments for adults referred to the Duty Team
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, housing services, and voluntary organisations
  • Develop and implement care and support plans tailored to individual needs
  • Manage crisis interventions, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users
  • Safeguard adults at risk by identifying and addressing concerns, adhering to national and local safeguarding protocols
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and reports in compliance with legal and organisational standards
  • Provide advice and guidance to individuals, families, and carers
  • Contribute to service development and promote best practices within the team

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • SSSC registered in the Social Work part of the register

  • Report Generation: Producing high-quality, legally sound, and evidence-based reports detailing your findings and recommendations for the Sheriff Court, in accordance with the statutory requirements for the three-year review of private guardianships
  • Risk Assessment: Identifying and assessing any potential risks, concerns, or changes in circumstances that may affect the adult's welfare or the suitability of the current arrangements
