Job Responsibility

  • Conduct assessments of needs and risks for adults with learning disabilities
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans
  • Work collaboratively with service users, their families, and other professionals
  • Advocate on behalf of individuals to ensure their rights and needs are met
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with professional standards
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed

Requirements

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW)
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
