Partnership provides individual and family therapy for clients aged 6–18 addressing a broad range of mental health issues through outpatient services offered in person or virtually.
Job Responsibility:
Provide individual and family therapy for clients aged 6–18 addressing a broad range of mental health issues through outpatient services offered in person or virtually
Collaborate with children, youth, and their families to identify goals and use evidence-based or evidence-informed treatment modalities, such as CBT and DBT, to support positive outcomes
May involve specialized consultants—including child and adolescent psychiatrists, pediatricians, or psychologists—and liaise with education providers and other professionals to develop interventions across home, school, and community settings
Working within the CAPA (Choice and Partnership Approach) model, deliver evidence based/evidence informed interventions for both Choice and Partnership appointments
Requirements:
M.S.W., M.A. or relevant discipline
Registered as a Social Worker with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or Registered with the College of Psychotherapists
2 years clinical experience
Experience and / or training in evidence-based therapeutic interventions in assessments, individual, family and group therapy, and brief solution focused treatment
A current Police Records Check within the last six (6) months
Must possess a valid driver’s license, able to supply own vehicle, and be insurable to drive in Ontario
Nice to have:
Bilingual in (French and English) is preferred
Experience working with the Indigenous population is an asset
