Responsibilities: As the Social Work Team Leader, you will: Lead a dynamic team of social workers and support staff, ensuring high-quality services for children with disabilities and their families. Supervise and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and promoting best practices. Oversee complex casework, ensuring that all interventions are child-centered, strengths-based, and aligned with statutory requirements. Collaborate with families, partner agencies, and other professionals to create tailored support plans that promote positive outcomes. Drive continuous improvement through performance management, team development, and innovative approaches to service delivery. Ensure compliance with legal frameworks, organizational policies, and safeguarding standards. Qualifications and registrations: Qualified Social Worker SSSC registered in the Social Work part of the register Substantial experience in children's services, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by children with disabilities and their families. Proven leadership skills, including supervising and developing staff and managing performance. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals. A thorough understanding of child protection legislation, safeguarding practices, and relevant statutory frameworks.
