Join us as a Team Leader in our Children with Disabilities Team, where your leadership will shape the future of vital support services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a dynamic team of social workers and support staff, ensuring high-quality services for children with disabilities and their families
  • Supervise and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and promoting best practices
  • Oversee complex casework, ensuring that all interventions are child-centered, strengths-based, and aligned with statutory requirements
  • Collaborate with families, partner agencies, and other professionals to create tailored support plans that promote positive outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance management, team development, and innovative approaches to service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with legal frameworks, organizational policies, and safeguarding standards

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • SSSC registered in the Social Work part of the register
  • Substantial experience in children's services, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by children with disabilities and their families
  • Proven leadership skills, including supervising and developing staff and managing performance
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
  • A thorough understanding of child protection legislation, safeguarding practices, and relevant statutory frameworks
  • A commitment to inclusion, equality, and empowering children with disabilities to achieve their potential
  • Car driver
