As a Practice Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will work closely with Lead Practitioners, families, carers, and other professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support.
Job Responsibility:
Support lead practitioners from the Family Help teams to lead on S17 assessments and CIN
Support lead practitioners to undertake needs-led assessments and lead the creation and delivery of multi-agency support plans
Support Child in Need meetings
Support the lead Practitioners to prepare and present assessments and reports to conferences, courts, and panels
Engage with the Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT) to deliver child protection plans where necessary
Build strong relationships with children and families, promoting their development, safety, and wellbeing
Use trauma-informed, relationship-based practice to engage staff and families
Ensure lead practitioners maintain high standards of case recording and contribute to multi-agency partnerships
Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work
Requirements:
Must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham
Have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK

Depending on the role, you may be asked to undergo the appropriate level of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
