Job Description

The Social Services Caseworker supports the delivery of therapeutic day treatment services for preschool-aged children with emotional and behavioral challenges. Under the supervision of clinical and program leadership, this role assists in implementing individualized behavior plans, facilitating therapeutic activities, and ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment. The position emphasizes direct care, milieu-based interventions, collaboration with families and multidisciplinary staff, and timely documentation to promote children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of social work/case management experience in a pediatric medical setting or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience
  • Lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a child who was hospitalized during infancy and/or received early intervention services during that period
  • Must be willing and able to work fully onsite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience required
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Nice to have

  • Bilingual skills/fluency in Spanish
  • Head Start, Pre-School, or ABA Experience
