Job Description

Social Service Administrator role supporting social work and care teams to ensure administrative processes run smoothly and service users receive timely and effective support.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to social service teams
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
  • Liaise with service users, families, and professionals to coordinate appointments and services
  • Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and correspondence
  • Support the smooth running of meetings, including minute-taking and agenda preparation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a social care or public sector setting
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • A compassionate and professional approach to working with vulnerable individuals
  • DBS Check required
