Job Description

Nebo is looking for a Social Media Video Editor Intern with a long-term interest in short-form content. This isn’t a “hang by the sidelines and do your homework” type of internship. We want you to jump right in and collaborate with our Social Media team to edit and deliver high-performing video content for real brands and audiences. And we’re not just looking for clean cuts and trendy transitions. We want someone who understands that great social is pacing, storytelling, and capturing attention in a never-ending feed.

Job Responsibility

  • Transform raw footage and scripts into scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts
  • Edit content using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, and Canva
  • Apply platform-specific best practices to create polished content
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance insights
  • Develop shot lists, scripts, and video concepts as you integrate with the team
  • Work within 1–3 business-day turnarounds
  • Address feedback within one business day

Requirements

  • Strong video editing skills and storytelling ability
  • Understanding of short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback
  • Passion for staying current on social trends and platform updates
  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn
  • A portfolio that includes video that was edited for organizations and brands (not just personal accounts, unless it’s significant creator experience)

What we offer

  • Real agency experience on an award-winning team
  • Gain hands-on experience creating content that actually goes out into the real world

Requirements
  • 5–7 years of experience in social media, content strategy, or thought leadership, ideally at a high-growth startup, fintech, or consumer brand where you were setting the agenda, not following one
  • You are very online. Twitter and LinkedIn are tabs you never close. Your FYP and Reels tab are dialed. You understand the culture of each platform natively and know how to build an audience, not just broadcast to one
  • A news obsessive - you read widely, across tech, finance, policy, and culture, and you have sharp instincts for reactive content: when to jump in, what angle to take, and when to stay quiet
  • Deep fluency in AI and emerging technology
  • A strong, versatile writer who can shift between brand voice and executive voice without losing what makes either one compelling
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple content calendars, stakeholders, and competing deadlines without losing the thread

  • Produce and publish content across formats - written posts, threads, short-form video, graphics - that reflects Bilt's unique voice and POV
