We are seeking a strategic and highly collaborative Social Media Strategist to join our client's global communications team. This role is a critical addition to a two-person strategy team focused on protecting organizational reputation and advancing business goals through effective digital engagement. As a lead strategist for advocacy communications, you will act as a high-level consultant to internal business partners, subject matter experts, and executive leadership, helping them navigate social media opportunities and craft professional messaging that aligns with broader organizational objectives. The primary focus of this role is the management of an organic social media presence across a diverse ecosystem, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube. You will be responsible for translating complex, technical, or industry-specific topics into clear, "snackable" content that is fit-for-purpose on each platform.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Consultation: Act as a lead strategist for advocacy communications, consulting with internal SMEs on social media opportunities tailored to their stakeholder needs
Agency & Community Management: Act as the primary liaison for third-party agency partners. You will provide strict direction to ensure content meets brand standards and serve as the lead for platform escalations
Multi-Platform Content: Coordinate and publish engaging content while translating existing brand assets into platform-appropriate organic posts
Performance Analytics: Use enterprise-level tools (Sprinklr, Opal, etc.) to maintain content calendars, track detailed performance metrics, and use data to convey effectiveness to key business partners
Regulatory Navigation: Manage rigorous approval workflows involving Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all content is compliant and substantiated
Requirements:
4-5 years of experience managing social media across multiple channels, ideally within a large, complex organization
Professional command of Sprinklr for publishing, reporting, and social listening
Experience in a highly regulated environment (e.g., Energy, Finance, Pharma) is highly preferred due to complex approval workflows
Ability to collaborate directly with executive leadership to advise on LinkedIn engagement and professional post-crafting
A strong portfolio is required, specifically showcasing skill in crafting social copy and adapting creative assets like video and animation for social consumption
