As part of The Walt Disney Company’s Studio & Integrated Marketing team, the Social Media Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day publishing and monitoring of all Disney+, Marvel, Pixar, Nat Geo, & Searchlight social media channels.
Job Responsibility:
Develop the social brand strategy in alignment with overarching brand strategy
Collaborate with the Content Executive on content ideation & execution of the social brand strategy
Tactical day-to-day sourcing, preparation and distribution of content to social channels
Reporting and Analysis of social media results to form learnings and recommendations
Identify and manage a portfolio of key third-party partners for content collaborations
Play an active role in local campaigns including capturing content first-hand at local events, screenings and activations
Requirements:
Proven competency and superior knowledge of social platforms, tools, and performance tracking
Excellent writing and copy skills with the ability to translate traditional marketing content into socially led conversations
Passion for storytelling, listening to the community, and providing engaging experiences in the social space
Strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple projects and creative ideas on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and ability to use sound judgement to ensure content is within brand guidelines
