This role is a remote based position with travel to Germany as required to meet with the wide Gamegenic team. There is also the option to work from our Bordon, Hampshire office too.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns and editorial content for Gamegenic's social media channels, tailored to both B2C and B2B audiences
Support and continuously optimize owned media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, BlueSky, Facebook, TikTok, and more
Collaborate with our graphics team to create engaging content
Identify new growth opportunities and stay on top of current trends
Research and build partnerships with relevant influencers
Manage external service providers and agencies effectively
Actively engage in community management across social media channels
Monitor social media and community trends to drive strategy
Prepare regular, insightful reports with actionable recommendations
Requirements:
Completed degree in marketing, media, or equivalent training
Several years of proven experience as a social media manager with a track record of success
Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and the skills to use them strategically
High level of creativity, adaptability, and solution-oriented thinking
Enthusiasm for audience segmentation, contact strategies, and a talent for creating compelling, audience-appropriate messages
Curiosity, openness, and a quick grasp of new tools or trends, paired with a willingness to learn
Fluency in both German and English (minimum level C1)
Proficiency in Office programs, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other relevant design software
Nice to have:
Being a German speaker would be advantageous
