We’re seeking a Social Media Manager with a deep understanding of streetwear and sneaker culture to join our dynamic Brand Marketing team at StockX. This role requires a keen eye for cultural trends and a deep understanding of social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. As a key player on our team, you'll be responsible for ideating, creating, and executing engaging social content that aligns with our brand vision and resonates with our target audience. With a deep understanding of culture, including sports, fashion, and music, you'll play a vital role in shaping our brand's online identity and driving engagement across platforms.
Job Responsibility:
Develop engaging social media content (videos, reels, photos) across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other StockX platforms
Proficient in capturing and editing high-quality video and photo content autonomously using iPhone
Stay on top of the latest TikTok trends, sounds, and content formats to create engaging videos
Oversee event coverage, creating real time, culturally relevant social content on the ground
Ideation and execution against a social media editorial calendar
Stay up to date on global observances/holidays for social media content
Coordinate with our Creative team for all necessary photo/video assets
Community management across all social platforms
Pitch new ways to engage with customers across all social media platforms
Assist with pulling and presenting social media analytics on regular cadence
Contribute to improving the social media strategy by knowing what’s working vs what’s not working on various social media platforms
Develop and present strategic plans and recaps to leadership
Requirements:
4-6 years experience managing social media, digital strategy, or related marketing roles, preferably for a major brand
Must have a strong strong understanding of sneakers and streetwear culture
Great knowledge of pop/meme culture
Previous experience running social media profiles
Understanding of key performance metrics across social media platforms
Creative approach to problem solving
Ability to travel twice per quarter
Nice to have:
Familiarity with social publishing platforms a plus
